Professional 3D scanning in Gran Canaria

We turn any physical object into an accurate 3D file: from a 5 mm part to a vehicle or a full 4-metre room. Blue laser and NIR structured light scanning, at our workshop in Vecindario or on your premises anywhere on the island.

Why does the scanner matter? Without it, reproducing a part means measuring by eye and hoping. With it, we capture the real geometry — curves, angles, wear — and work from data instead of guesswork.

What we actually deliver

This is the question worth asking any scanning provider, because the difference in value is enormous.

A mesh is what comes straight out of the scanner: a skin of triangles reproducing the surface, including dents, wear and dirt. It is useful for documentation or rough copying, but it cannot be edited in a controlled way.

A parametric CAD model is something else entirely. Holes are real holes with a diameter you can change. If you need the same part two millimetres longer, you edit one dimension. With a mesh, you cannot.

We can deliver either, or both. If you are likely to need more units in the future, take the CAD model.

What scans well and what does not

  • Works well: matt metal, opaque plastic, parts with defined geometry, objects from 5 mm to 4 m.
  • Needs preparation: highly glossy or chrome surfaces, deep matt black, very thin or flexible parts. A temporary matting spray solves almost all of these and is removed afterwards without damaging the original.
  • Difficult: glass and transparent parts, enclosed interiors with no access, foam and fabric that deform when touched.

We come to you

The scanner is wireless. When a part belongs to a machine that cannot be dismantled, or is on a boat, or is simply too large to move, we travel to you. We cover Las Palmas, Telde, Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés, Agüimes and the rest of Gran Canaria.

Equipment

We work with a Creality Raptor X, combining blue laser lines with NIR structured light, and reconstruct geometry in Autodesk Fusion 360. Manufacturing, if you need it, happens in the same workshop: 24 machines in production, plus resin and a dedicated paint department.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the original technical drawing?

No. The physical part is enough. We scan it and rebuild the 3D model from its actual geometry. A drawing helps if you have one, but it is not required.

What size of part can you scan?

From around 5 millimetres up to objects or spaces of 4 metres, such as a complete vehicle or a room. Our scanner combines blue laser lines and NIR structured light to cover that range.

Can you scan outside your workshop?

Yes. The scanner is wireless and portable, so we can travel to your premises, workshop or hotel anywhere in Gran Canaria to scan machines or parts that cannot be moved.

What do I receive at the end?

Whatever you need: the scanned mesh, an STL file ready to print, or an editable parametric CAD model. If you also want the part manufactured, we produce it ourselves.

Can you scan a broken part?

Usually yes. If the part is symmetrical we scan the intact half and mirror it. If you have the fragments, we scan them separately and assemble them digitally. We just need enough of the part left to deduce the rest.

How much does a 3D scan cost?

It depends on the size of the part, the complexity of its geometry and whether you need only the mesh or a full CAD model. We give you a fixed quote before starting, and assessing your case costs nothing.
