Why local manufacturing matters on an island

Gran Canaria lives on tourism, and every day a room is out of service has a cost. When the fix depends on a part that has to travel, the maintenance department cannot commit to a date.

We do not replace your usual supplier. We cover the gaps that supplier cannot: the discontinued item, the batch of forty, the piece that only exists in this building.

What to ask any 3D manufacturing supplier

Which material will you use and why? A part in a wet area, outdoors or near heat needs a specific polymer. Ask them to justify the choice.
Can you provide the material documentation? For pieces in public areas or in contact with food, ask for the technical data sheets. We request them from the material manufacturer and pass them on.
Do you carry public liability insurance? Purchasing departments require it to register a supplier. We have it and provide the certificate.
What happens if I need more units in a year? If they keep the model, replacement is immediate.

We are a legally registered business with tax ID, IGIC invoicing and public liability insurance in force. If your purchasing department needs documentation to register us as a supplier, we send it the same day.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with hotel chains as a registered supplier?

Yes. We are a legally constituted business with tax ID, IGIC invoicing and public liability insurance in force. We provide whatever documentation your purchasing department needs.

Can you make parts that touch food?

It depends on the material. Filaments with food-contact certification issued by the material manufacturer exist. Tell us when requesting a quote and we will advise which material applies.

How many identical units can you produce?

We have 24 machines in production, which lets us split a batch across several printers and deliver complete lots rather than dripping out single units.

Do you travel to the hotel?

Yes, when a part needs scanning in place or an item has to be assessed in its location. We cover all of Gran Canaria, including the southern tourist area.

Will the parts survive sun and salt?

With the right material, yes. For outdoor use we work with UV-resistant materials such as ASA. Standard PLA is not suitable for outdoor use in the Canary Islands and we do not use it for those cases.
